Located in the city of Vadodara, Maharaja Sayajirao University is a public university. In 1881, the university was established as a college, and it was granted university status in 1949. This university is named in honor of the former ruler of Baroda State, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. MSU Baroda holds a grade of "A" from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). AIU, i.e., the Association of Indian Universities, is also affiliated with the University. The university started B.Arch courses from the year of 1952 but has had an outstanding reputation for imparting architectural education since 1890.

Master of Planning

Students must have passed Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent or a Master's degree in Geography / Economics / Sociology in first or higher second class with at least 55% marks in the aggregate. The minimum mark required for the students with 2 years of experience is 50%.

 

Post Graduate DiplomaStudents must have passed (10+2+3) from any discipline from a recognized university

Application Process

Result and Cut off

MSU admits BE students based on the GUJCET. Results of the exam are strictly based on merit. Therefore, each branch has different cutoff marks. M.Arch admissions are solely based on the GATE score. In some cases, the relevant department conducts a personal interview round after the written test. A combined score from the CMAT and earlier qualifying exams is used to determine MBA admissions.
